The old becomes new.

Take a step back in time when you visit The Eliza Jane, a 195-room boutique hotel that is part of Hyatt’s Unbound Collection. This project included the historic renovation, new construction, adaptive re-use, and brand conversion of six 1800s-era buildings with separate addresses in New Orleans’s Central Business District. The interior scope comprised the buildout of a new atrium bar and courtyard renovation, while the exterior work included repairs to the existing facade, new paint, new wood storefronts and windows, brick pavers, and the addition of a canopy along the entire length of the buildings.

Completed in 2018, the 114,000-square-foot project features 154 upgraded rooms plus 41 new guest rooms, a courtyard, a bar, public spaces, and a restaurant, Couvant.  RNGD worked with HRI Properties on this complex Design-Build transformation.
